Craft Room
What an exciting year we have planned for our Art Program! Sure we have crayons and markers! We even have poster board and reams of paper, but have you ever tried using acrylic paints on real canvas or squishing your fingers through wet clay and molding it just right?
This year our children will have the chance to work in the mediums of clay, watercolor and acrylic paints, pen and ink, pastels and Cray pa's. We will also be expanding our hit "drum painting" program, which finds one or two "painters" using real drums and drum sticks to splatter paint onto sheets creating one of a kind masterpieces.
Artwork is displayed throughout the building as well as at various events attended by PAL all year long. We run 2 art sessions (4-5pm and 5-6pm) on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday and typically 1 session on Wednesday and Friday. The art program is open to all members of the Community Center.
